Clover Garden is committed to the safety of all students. This includes making decisions based on local weather conditions. Our team makes every effort to keep families safe and well informed.

In the event of inclement weather, announcements will be given to WFMY News 2 and FOX 8 News. Please do not call media outlets or school personnel as lines need to remain open. In the event of a cancellation all extra-curricular activities are also canceled.

Delayed Opening

In the event of a delayed opening we will operate on a two or three hour delay. Please refer to our school Facebook account, text alerts, local media outlets and email.

Early Dismissal

It is the responsibility of parents to be alert to possible early closings due to inclement weather and to provide for the prompt pick-up of their children when this occurs. The decision to close school is always a difficult one. Every effort will be made to consider the safety of our students, faculty, and the convenience of parents when making such decisions. Your cooperation and assistance is appreciated. It is always the parent or guardian’s decision to determine the safety for their child during inclement weather.

Text Alerts

Staff, parents, and students: Please sign up for emergency text alerts to stay up to date on and delays or cancellations due to inclement weather. In order to signup for CGS Text Alerts please email the Clover Garden Tech Support Team. Please provide your name, cell number and the cell phone provider you use.

WFMY News 2 Weather
