Last Friday a group of elementary students were recognized for being Grizzly Heroes in their classrooms. These students were chosen by their homeroom teachers because the show show kindness, responsibility, leadership, and other exemplary character traits. Mrs. Vereyken rewarded these students with a $15 gift certificate to our Scholastic Book Fair. During the impromptu awards ceremony (video below) students were asked what makes a Grizzly Hero. Their responses were heartwarming and reminds us that character counts!
