I have been with CGS since it opened in 2001. Two of my children attended and now my granddaughter attends CGS. My husband Richard is a middle school math teacher at a nearby charter school. I have 3 sons and 2 daughters, a Musician, a Mechanic, a Nurse, a Teacher and a Firefighter. Homeschooling my children and wanting the best for them is what led me to CGS. I believe you only have one opportunity to raise your child. Make it the best you can give. There are no do-overs. My college degree is in accounting and I earned that at the age of 56. Prior to that I was a 10th grade dropout. We are never through with learning. Don’t give up. When I am not at school I love the mountains, hiking, travel and all kinds of crafts. Right at this moment I love quilting. Taking pieces of fabric and putting them together for beautiful things is soothing to the heart. There are two quotes that I live by: “Everything will be OK in the end – If it’s not OK then it’s not the end.” and “Whoever dies with the most fabric Wins”.
