To influence the lives of children and help mold them into productive and kind citizens when they grow up.

Graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 2002 in Elementary Education. Received my National Board Certification in literacy in 2008, but is no longer valid. Received my Masters in School Administration in 2012 from A&T University. Teacher of the year in 2008.

Husband of 8 years, Matt Long. 3 boys, Grayson (6), Porter (4), and Blake (1 1/2).

Hobbies include crafting and reading. For fun we like to camp, go to the lake on our boat and travel.
