Amber Clark, Exceptional Children, Teacher

Hello Clover Garden families!! My name is Amber Clark and I am the new High School EC Teacher. I became a substitute teacher in 2015 for ABSS and fell in love with working with students with special needs, so I took a Teacher Assistant position in an Adapted Curriculum classroom in 2017. I started at Western Governors University in July 2018 in order to earn my Teaching degree. I finished all of my coursework in 10 months, completed 8 weeks of student teaching in 3rd grade followed by 8 weeks of student teaching in high school before becoming an EC Teacher on January 2, 2020 at Woodlawn Middle School, where I remained until the end of September. Mrs. Morris has done nothing but rave about how wonderful Clover Garden is since she started this school year, so I couldn't help but want to come and join her and the rest of this community!! I am married with two kids and we are all excited about this new adventure for me. I look forward to meeting many of you soon!
