Weekly Update 10.11 – 10.15

We hope that everyone had a fantastic break and is ready to begin Quarter 2. Please make sure that you are staying focused and engaged in your schoolwork at all times. Start off Quarter 2 by setting goals for yourself and working hard to stay organized. Make sure that you are completing your assignments so that they do not turn into “missing work”. Stay after school for tutoring! You are in charge of your academic future, so make sure you are being as successful as possible this school year.

Trunk or Treat:

CGS will be participating in our 2^nd annual Trunk or Treat Drive through event on Friday, October 29^th from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.! If you would be interested or willing to donate a bag of candy for our event, please contact Mrs. Cox at jennifercox@cgsnc.org.

Tik Tok Challenge:

Parents, we’d like to make you aware of a new “Tik Tok” challenge this month in which students are challenged with assaulting a staff member. I want to take a moment to remind all of our students and parents that assaulting anyone on our campus will NOT be tolerated at CGS and IF students are caught participating in such acts, they will be subject to disciplinary action including expulsion and legal action. Law enforcement will also be contacted. We hope that this “challenge” isn’t a behavior that any of our CGS students choose to participate in. Thank you for your help at home with reminding our students of the privilege it is to be a Grizzly and to always make good choices! Thank you!
