Recently, Clover Garden School was informed that Mrs. Elizabeth Nall was chosen to receive a grant from Tanger Outlets. Mrs. Nall put together a grant proposal outlining how our science students would benefit from hands-on science tools. Tanger Outlets agreed and as part of their TangerKIDS Grants program awarded Clover Garden $615. This money will be used to purchase goggles, aprons, gloves, meter sticks, timers, golf balls, trays, straws, balloons, wheels, ramps, PTC paper, PH meter, and a soil testing kit. We are excited to see what our Grizzlies do with these new supplies!

According to the award notification:

In alignment with Tanger Outlets’ mission to be good corporate citizens, the TangerKIDS Grants program supports and serves the future generation by providing almost $200,000 of total funding for special projects, programs and equipment in schools located in the communities we serve nationwide.

We want to extend a huge thank you to Tanger Outlets and Mrs. Nall! Knowing that there are corporate community members committed to the education and success of our students is a wonderful thing! We truly appreciate Tanger Outlets’ commitment to the community and can’t wait to see our Grizzlies as they learn with the new science equipment. Of course, we have to shout out Mrs. Nall as well. She is always looking for ways to make her classes more engaging, fun, and most of all effective. Her desire to grow her students is evident in all she does!
