There are only 2 weeks left until our 1st Academic Break. Students, please continue working hard at learning your teacher’s expectations and completing work on time and completely. Parents, if you can’t access PowerSchool, please contact our registrar at ninamiller@cgsnc.org and we will try and get you set up/reset.

We are working on updating our mass emailing/communication system. There are some of you that are not receiving emails and we are working hard to correct this issue that was creating when PowerSchool did some updates earlier this year. We will be updating information this week to improve communication and will be sending out test emails/test text messages to ensure our system is working correctly. Thank you for your patience with us while we update and improve our communication systems!
Don’t forget to check out our website at www.cgsnc.org and our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/cgsgrizzlies for updates!

SS-ARS Reporting System

Big picture

This year, our 6th-12th grade students will be utilizing the SS-ARS (Say Something Anonymous Reporting System) to report suspicious or concerning student behavior. This app was created by the Sandy Hook Promise Organization and has been very sucessful at saving student lives and helping all students feel safer when at school.

Our students in Grades 6th-12th will be training soon on how to utilize the anonymous SS-ARS reporting app to submit suspicious or alarming behaviors.

Here’s a video that will tell you a little more about how powerful and important the program is. Please talk with your student about this application and how valuable it can be in our school community. https://youtu.be/8IYPNkOJDkw
