Name: Valorie Williams

How many years have you been a student at CGS?

I started at Clover Garden when I was in kindergarten but moved away during second grade. I then came back during freshman year.

What clubs, organizations, teams, etc have you been involved with during your high school career?

Beta Club

What is your favorite Clover Garden memory?

One of my favorite memories at Clover Garden has mainly been created this year. But the memory I am going with was actually in my sophomore year. My friends and I would go to all of the basketball games and just hang out in the dance room. I also have to include the water fight my friends and I had in the cafeteria this year.

Another one of my favorite memories is all of the field trips with Mr.Kistler. He ensured that each trip was full of fun and created many unforgettable memories for my classmates and I.

If you had to choose one person from CGS that has really made a difference in your life who would that be?

I would choose Mrs. Lassiter as the person who has made a difference in my life. She has always been someone that I could just go to for anything. If I was upset, if I had a question, if I needed anything, Mrs. Lassiter was always there for me. She would always be very chill and was very sweet to me. I will miss her when I am gone because she has always been there for me during my years at Clover Garden.

If you had to choose two people from outside CGS that have made a difference in your life who would they be?

This is a really difficult question for me to answer because there are so many influential people in my life. I am first going to choose my aunt Lauren. I can’t remember any time in my life where my aunt Lauren has not been there for me. So many prominent and fun memories from my childhood involves my aunt. She has also played such a huge role in my support system these past few years. No matter what I would need, she would be there for me and there is no way I could ever express how thankful I am towards her. Another person who was influential on my life is my cousin Kailey. These past few years she has been the person I could go to for anything. If I was sad, mad, scared, or anything, she would always be there by my side to help me through anything. She is such an amazing person and we have created so many amazing memories together. I don’t think that I could have gone through these past few years without her. But these two people are not the only influential people in my life. I also have my MawMaw, BaBa, Hannah, Whit, Julie, Kristin, Kaitlyn, Madison, Allie, Reagan, Leslie, and more. I am really fortunate to have so many people in my life who only want the best for me and wants to see me live a happy and healthy life. I just want to thank everyone for being there for me and loving me to the fullest.

What is your plan for after graduation?

My plan after high school is to go to ACC to get my certificate to be a Pharmacy Technician. With that I want to go to Cone/ARMC to work there as a Pharmacy Technician so that later on they will pay for me to continue my education. My goal is to end up at Liberty University, where I have already been accepted, to major biomedical science. My end goal is to be a Pharmacist.
