Weekly Message 5/16 – 5/20

There are only 7 ½ school days left of our 2021-2022 school year! This week is a BIG testing week for us as many of our students take the End of Course/ End of Grade Exams! We wish all of our students the best of luck!! Get a good night’s rest! You can do this! : )

Covid-19:

Deadlines for student work to be turned in: (All school issued student laptops must be turned in by this date)

Middle School students: May 20^th

Elementary School students: May 20^th

High School Students ONLY:

Students are required to be at school if they have an exam scheduled for that day.  Please see the exam schedule listed below and attached. This schedule can also be found on your child’s Canvas Homepage.  If your student has an exam in the morning, please follow the CGS attendance policy on page 12 of the Student and Parent Handbook for early check out.

Summer Learning Program (SLP) and Read to Achieve (RTA camp):

Please see the attached letter for students that would be eligible for our Math and ELA summer learning programs that run during the month of June.

Parents of 3^rd grade students, you will receive information soon on whether or not your student is eligible to attend the RTA reading camp. RTA Camp will run from May 31-June 15^th.

• MS/HS Field Day (hosted by our school’s high school D.R.E.A.M. team. Parent volunteers are not needed for this event)
