Earth and Environmental students have been busy saving the planet!  Students were challenged to DO SOMETHING to impact the environment.  They were able to choose how they can contribute to the environment and documented how their actions make a difference.  Here are a few examples of students work:

Tighe B. changed light bulbs in his home to LED bulbs

Abigail C. went around her home and turned off lightswitches that were left on

Jackson D. changed the lightbulbs in his home to LED lightbulbs

Randall D. walked to the store 

Maddux H. turned down the thermostat and turned off the lights.

Josie H. reduced waste and used metal straws

Peyton H. planted a tree

Gabe K. started a compost site at his home

Madison L. reduced her waste several different ways

Preston L. planted grass and started a compost site at his home

Brandon M. started a recycling project at his home

John N. used wood burning fireplace to keep his home warm

Keegan P. started a recycling project at her home

JD S. turned the thermostat down and turned off the lights at his home

Adriana S. started a recycling project at home

Valorie W. started a composting site at home

Jordan Z. dried her clothes by handing them and not using the dryer
