Today we are happy to introduce you to a member of the Clover Garden Board of Directors, Ms. Cathy June. Ms. June has been a member of our board for the past seven years and was recently named Board Chairperson.

When asked why she originally wanted to be a part of the Clover Garden Board of Directors Ms. June replied, “I was near to the area and looking for volunteer opportunities to serve within the community. A community member position became available and I saw the positive history and future potential at Clover Garden to ensure the kids were given an excellent education and every opportunity to become contributing and successful citizens.”

Ms. June has been involved in many Clover Garden projects over the past several years. She is very proud of all of them but is especially pleased with the “property improvements over the last 12 – 18 months. These changes have enhanced safety and present pride in our school!”

As with many of our board members, faculty, and staff Ms. June was strongly influenced by the educators in her life. She specifically appreciates, “Mr. Bruce Seymour, Harden Central Middle School, Elizabethtown, KY. Mr. Seymour was a force of positive attitude, encouragement, and support during a very difficult time in my education. He showed compassion and interest when I believed the school system was failing me. He made me believe in myself, gave me a swift kick to be part of the solution, own my future, and never lose hope or faith.”

When not busy with Clover Garden business Ms. June works as Director of Hospital Relations for a local company. She also loves travel, reading, and anything Disney related.

The Clover Garden community is blessed to have Ms. Junes as part of our board. We appreciate her commitment to our community and the education of our Grizzlies.
