This week’s ninth-grade social conference had a different twist. Instead of just socializing and talking modules, assignments, and grades students played. That’s right they played…Where’s Mrs. Reagan (a Clover Garden take on Where’s Waldo), tested their state capital knowledge, and engaged in an interesting game of Would You Rather!

Mrs. Kueider and Mrs. Reagan host the ninth grade social each week and do their best to allow the kids to have fun and interact in a fun, non-stressful atmosphere. With the restrictions that COVID-19 has placed on our students and teachers, social conferences are a great way for students to connect with each other and see a softer more personal side of their teachers as well. I mean check this photo out of Mrs. Reagan somewhere on a train. Kind of looks like the train at City Park…

Mrs. Reagan said that “They (the students) were competitive with Kahoot and used the Zoom chat to type their answers for “Where is Mrs. Reagan”. Take a look at the attached presentation for the questions they tackled during Would You Rather segment of their time together. This might be a fun game to tackle tonight over supper!

We are proud of how our Clover Garden students, faculty, and staff are persevering, innovating, and excelling during distance learning.
