This morning we shine our Senior Spotlight on Tony ‘TJ’ Carter. This young man started kindergarten as a Grizzly. During his high school years, Tony was very active in our CGS Band Department. He played trumpet in the Marching Band and in Jazz Band.

After graduation Tony plans to attend Alamance Community College for two years and then transfer to complete a bachelors degree.

When asked what he thought the Class of 2020 would be remembered for he echoed his friend Andrew Cheek and stated, “Being epic.” We agree!

As Tony thought back over the many memories he has made as a Grizzly he expressed that the band trip to New York City was his favorite memory.

With graduation only weeks away Tony was able to reflect on his academic experience thus far. As he did he wanted to thank, “My Mom, Dad and my friends” for their support, guidance, and friendship.
