Charity Joyce

Charity is a student that came to Clover Garden three years ago as a sophomore. During her time here at CGS, she has participated in our PALs program. This program allows students to work one period a day within a classroom or other area. In Charity’s case, she was allowed to work in second grade where she helped grade papers and help students. She also assisted in the cafeteria where she helped the cafeteria staff prep and serve meals for fellow students and spread her contagious smile.

After graduation Charity hopes to join the Air Force. In the meantime, she plans to enter the workforce where she wants to work in a field where she can help children.

When asked what she felt the legacy of the Class of 2020 would be Charity stated that she felt they would be remembered as the class that always helped other people.

Charity’s favorite memories all revolved around one thing, “…getting to know some amazing friends that become my best friends!”

As Charity looked back over her high school experience she wanted to thank several people: Mrs. Casey Thompson, Mrs. Reagan, Jimmy, and Victoria. Charity said “I chose these people because they have always been there for me and never once gave up on me no matter what. They pushed me to do better than what I was doing at the time. They believed in me when I felt no one else did. Even when I wanted to give up these people fought for me because they believed I would do great things in this world.”

Charity we are so proud of you! We cannot wait to see where the Air Force or your career takes you! Please remember that you will do those amazing things!
