Isaac Worsham

For Volume 8 of our Senior Spotlight, we turn our attention to a young man that has been a part of the Clover Garden family since first grade, Isaac Worsham. During his high school years, Isaac has been a very active member of the student body. He was a member of FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), BETA, Spanish Club, Envirothon, Jr. Civitan, and the CERT Team. Isaac also participated in several sports including Cross Country, Basketball, and Soccer. He was also an active member of the Lively Stones Baptist youth group.

After graduation, Isaac will be joining the United States Navy and hopes to pursue a career in nursing. Isaac, we commend your commitment to our country and wish you well as you serve our country.

When asked what he felt the Class of 2020 would be known for he replied, “2020 has been a hectic year so it will be remembered for a lot of things, probably we will mostly be remembered as the COVID-19 grads. “

As Isaac thought back over his experiences at Clover Garden, he said that his favorite memories were, “Just being with my friends every day soaking in all the memories, having great teachers, and my favorite CGS memories are going out there with all the guys and being able to play basketball one last year for Clover Garden.”

As students approach graduation they have the chance to look back at the experiences and people that have helped shape them into the young adults they are. As Isaac reflected, he wanted to thank several people that have helped him along the way thus far. He stated, “If I could thank four people my first choice would be Jeff Bostic the only reason I ever touched a soccer ball in my life was to play for this man, he is by far one of the best teachers I have ever come in contact with, he has left me speechless lots of times during class and taught me lots of things mostly that Meta means middle, and to never leave you DoNows blank, also he is one of the funniest and most relatable teachers ever. I was always excited to step in his class, hear his wild science stories, and attempt to eat the hottest peppers. He is everything that a teacher should stand for. My second person would be my mom/dad they have both helped me through struggles in school and pushed me to the best person I can be. Without them I would not be the man I am today without all of their love and support, Love you, mom, and dad. The third person that has guided me through this journey would be Mrs. Nina she has always been supportive and calm and very organized and has always helped me pick classes. My last person would be Mrs. Reagan even though there were a lot of times she probably wanted to kill me I really loved being in her classes, cracking jokes, and just talking to her. She is a very hard person to dislike and I appreciate being very calm and laid back, she is an amazing teacher on top of all that.”

Isaac, as you start this next chapter in your life remember that your Clover Garden family is proud of you and appreciate your service to our country!
