AJ Farris

In our sixth installment of the Senior Spotlight, we turn our attention to AJ Farris. This young man has been a Grizzly since Kindergarten. During his high school years, he has been a very active member of our community. He participated in Varsity Soccer, Varsity Baseball, CERT, 4-H, Jr. Civitan, Band, Jazz Band, BETA, Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica, Dream Team, PALs, and Early College through Alamance Community College. AJ also volunteered at the Special Olympics and participated in the CGS Teacher Cadet program.

After graduation AJ is entering the United States Navy. Hats off to AJ and his commitment to our Nation!

When asked what he thought the Class of 2020 would be known for he stated that he thought they would be known for having the “Most interesting senior year.”

Band competitions were what AJ cited as being the source of some of his greatest Clover Garden memories.

As AJ thought back over his experiences here at Clover Garden, he had a few people he wanted to give a shout out to and thank them for the positive influence they had on him:

  • Mr. Bostic because of his amazing science classes
  • Mrs. Nina for keeping me on track
  • Mrs. Moyer for letting me stay in her office all year
  • Mr. Babb for making my senior marching season one to remember

AJ as you graduate and join the Navy please remember all of your Clover Garden family is behind you and can’t wait to see what the future holds for you.
