Welcome back to our second installment in the Senior Spotlight blog series.

Christian Fowlkes

Christian has been a Clover Garden student for the past five years. Since becoming a Grizzly in eight grade Christian has participated in several clubs and athletic opportunities. During his high school years, he was a member of the JV basketball team, varsity soccer, and varsity baseball teams. In addition to athletics, Christian was a member of BETA and was selected as a junior marshal. He also participated in the Early College program through Alamance Community College. This allowed him to earn college-level course credit while still in high school.

After graduation Christian plans to continue earning his associates degree at Alamance Community College. Once that is completed, he plans to transfer to an in-state university and pursue a degree in engineering.

When asked what he felt the legacy of the Class of 2020 would be Christian jokingly replied, “The year of Covid-19 where the whole world was shut down.”

Christian has a few people he would like to recognize that have helped him along his academic journey so far. “I have to thank my Mom and Dad. No matter what they continued to push me to do my best and I’m am thankful for the time they have invested in me.”

As Christian looked back at his time as a Clover Garden Grizzly, he felt that, “All of my favorite memories come from my time playing sports during practices, games, and bus rides to and from away games.”

Christian, congratulations on all of the accomplishments you have achieved thus far! Know that Clover Garden stands with you and supports you as you graduate and start this new chapter in your story!
