Our first ever Curriculum Night was held on March third.  This special event was designed to educate rising and current middle and high school students learn more about the courses being offered next year and get a game plan of what courses they would like to take in the 2020-2021 academic year. In case you missed this great event you can review the presentation shown below.

The 2020-2021 Curriculum Night Presentation can be accessed here.

CGS was very proud to unveil several new ‘Career Prep’ classes for next year.  These include Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Keyboarding and Survey of Operating Systems, Fire Technology I, Emergency Care, Child Development, Food and Nutrition, and CERT.  These classes will broaden our student’s tech skills, give them the opportunity to learn more about emergency management, and provide life and career skills.

Representatives were on hand from Alamance Community College.  They were able to show students what classes are available through the Early College program and how they can assist with transfer study and technical degrees.
