Jaylan Hicks is getting ready for his next chapter after graduation with plans to attend trade school and pursue a career in HVAC. He’s focused on gaining hands-on experience and building the skills needed for a successful future in the skilled trades.
During his time at Clover Garden School, Jaylan stayed involved in a variety of activities. He played basketball, contributed to the Yearbook, and participated in Fellowship of Christian Athletes during his freshman year. One of his standout high school moments came on the basketball court—scoring 29 points during a JV game his freshman year, a memory he’s especially proud of.
One of Jaylan’s favorite memories at CGS is competing in basketball and being part of a team that pushed him to grow both on and off the court.
Jaylan’s advice to younger students:
“Stay out the way and focus on yourself and school.”
We’re proud of you, Jaylan, and wish you the best as you take this exciting next step toward your future!
