Ann Otey, Elementary, Teacher

I come from a large family, I was born and raised in Caswell County NC. I am married and have three children, Hunter, Lena and Joani. I have a passion for teaching, it is my mission to make a positive impact in the lives of my students and help them create a love for learning. I earned my Associates Degree in Early Childhood from Haywood Community College, worked as an assistant here at Clover Garden School for six years. Along the way I made the decision to go back to school for my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with Grand Canyon University. This is my eighth year teaching here at Clover Garden School. I enjoy spending my free time attending my children’s sporting events and enjoying family time by the lake or at the beach. "Success doesn't come from what you do occasionally.
