Natalie Hicks, Middle School, Math

Hello! My name is Natalie Hicks. I am excited to be joining the Clover Garden Community as a teacher this year. I currently have a 3rd grader and an incoming Kindergartener at Clover Garden, but it will be great to be a part of the school in this new role. I have eight years of teaching experience and am passionate about creating an environment where students are confident in accessing new material, actively engaged in learning and growing at their own pace. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Middle Grades Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) and my Master’s degree in Instructional Technology from East Carolina University (ECU). Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two children, and our Miniature Schnauzer puppy. I also enjoy sports, cooking, attending church, and making memories with my family. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone and being a part of such a wonderful school community. I can’t wait for a great school year! Go Grizzlies!
