Emmette Cox, High School, Teacher

Graduated in 1992 from South West Guilford High. Graduated in 1996 from The Citadel with a BS in Physics. Served in Korea and Japan as an engineer officer. Began teaching in 2002, but also worked as a project manager for a construction company and as a product developer for Carolina Biological Supply Company creating science education kits for physics, chemistry, and earth science. I have taught Earth Science, Chemistry, Physics, AP Physics, Project Lead the Way (PLTW) engineering and design courses. Most recently taught for three years at Triad Math and Science Academy charter school in Greensboro. I currently live in Gibsonville with my dog, Rocket.
