My name is Mrs. Russell, and I am thrilled to be teaching second grade at Clover Garden. I am beginning my 21st year in education and my first full year at CGS. I began teaching in Caswell County, where I grew up, before moving to Alamance County to teach. I have previously taught kindergarten, first, and fifth grades; and served as an academic coach. This will be my 9th year teaching second grade and I couldn’t be happier to be teaching my favorite grade level once again.

My husband Micahel and I have four children combined. I have two teenagers, Chase (17) and Addyson (15), that attend Western Alamance High School. My stepdaughter Madison (19) attends NSCU - where I'll be joining her this fall as an online grad student. McKinley (16) also attends Western Alamance. If I’m not spending time with them, I love cheering on my NC State Wolfpack, watching sports, traveling, camping, going for walks, going to concerts, and spending time with our family.
