We only have a little over a week left until everyone returns for the 2026-2027 school year!!
Open House is this week! We hope to see everyone on Thursday for Open House. Please note that our High School Open House changed slightly and is now open to all students 9th-12th grade from 5 PM – 7 PM. High School families, please see the video found HERE for information needed prior to Open House.
- OPEN HOUSE- SAVE THE DATES
- As a reminder, Open House will be held for all of our students on Thursday, July 23rd, 2026.
- Kindergarten : 9:00 A.M. to 12 P.M.
- 1st-8th Grade Students that are NEW to CGS : 2:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M.

- Infinite Campus Access to Student Schedules:
- Infinite Campus Access is scheduled to open to our students on Monday, July 20th, 2026. Students will have until July 31st to make schedule changes/requests . Be on the lookout for a Google Form to complete to request those changes. See Ms. Walther for questions.
**Please be on the lookout on Sunday for more information regarding logging into your Infinite Campus Accounts to view your student’s schedule for the 26-27 school year.
- Technology Fees:
- This year, Technology Fees can be paid online FOUND HERE. This applies to students in Grades 6th-12th.
- Parking Passes:
- Parking Passes are available to be paid using the following link FOUND HERE. Please take the time to pay online via this linkto pay for your student’s Parking Pass (11th and 12th grade students ONLY as they get priority and underclassmen will get an opportunity as space is available at a later date/time)
- Health Assessment Forms:
- We are working to make our forms as digital as possible this school year! Please fill out the attached Nurses’ Health Form or CLICK HEREto complete your child’s health assessment by August 31st for your student.
- Athletics Update:
- Please see the attached flyer for information regarding our athletics program and upcoming important dates!
- Student/Parent Handbook:
- We will post our 2026-2027 Student/Parent Handbook on our website next week. We will send out an email with the attachment for you to review with your student.
- Educational Field Trip Requests:
- As a reminder, all educational field trip request forms can be found online at our website www.cgsnc.org. An update for this school year: ALL STUDENTS MUST BE PRESENT ON DAY 1 – JULY 27TH, 2026 (exception – new Kindergarten students). This includes all of our ACC High School Students, students attending camps over the summer, etc. All students must be in attendance on the 1st day of school. If you’d like to request additional days for excused absences and want to complete an educational field trip request form, this will be fine AFTER Day 1. No student is considered enrolled until they are physically in the building on Day 1. Thank you for prioritizing education and ensuring that your student is on campus on Day 1 for our 26-27 school year. Thank you!
- Lunch the 1st week back (July 27th-July 31st)
- All students will be expected to bring a bag lunch to school the first week back. This will allow our systems to be set up and running to best serve our K-12 families. Please plan accordingly. Hot lunch will be served beginning the week of August 3rd.
- 2025-2026 Parent/Student Survey:
- Please be on the lookout for a survey for our parents/students reflecting on last school year. Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey, as we utilize this feedback for planning purposes and areas to focus on for room for improvement for the new school year. A separate email will be sent with the survey information in it soon.
We are looking forward to seeing everyone back (not including Kindergarten- you will have a staggered start) on Monday, July 27th, 2026. It will be a normally scheduled school day with our K-8 Campus beginning at 7:45 A.M. and our HS Campus beginning at 8:00 A.M.
