JaNiya Hicks is preparing for an exciting next chapter after graduation as she plans to attend a four-year HBCU to pursue a degree in psychology with the goal of becoming a psychologist.
JaNiya is passionate about understanding others and hopes to build a future where she can support individuals and make a meaningful impact in the field of mental health.
During her time at Clover Garden School, JaNiya stayed involved across campus life. She participated in yearbook her freshman year, played basketball as a sophomore, and served as a cheerleader her junior year, bringing both creativity and school spirit to her school community.
JaNiya’s advice to younger students:
“Stay true to who you are.”
