Afton Yarbrough is preparing for an exciting next chapter after graduation as she plans to attend a four-year university to pursue a degree in Cybersecurity with a minor in Criminal Justice, with UNC Wilmington and UNC Charlotte among her top choices.
Afton is interested in building a career where she can protect others in the digital world, combining her passion for technology and justice to make a meaningful impact.
During her time at Clover Garden School, Afton stayed active in athletics through soccer. One of her favorite memories at CGS is returning to the sport as a sophomore and gaining amazing, supportive teammates who made the experience unforgettable.
Afton’s advice to younger students:
“Take your time growing up. Enjoy the little moments because they end up being the big ones.”
