Halle Russell is getting ready for an exciting next chapter after graduation as she plans to attend a four-year college to pursue a degree in Business Administration, with plans to continue on to earn her master’s degree. Halle hopes to work on the business side of the healthcare industry, combining leadership, organization, and service.
Halle has already been accepted to an impressive list of colleges, including UNC Wilmington, Western Carolina University, Wingate University, Liberty University, Lenoir-Rhyne University, Greensboro College, Campbell University, UNC Greensboro, UNC Charlotte, and Appalachian State University, and is still awaiting decisions from ECU and NC State.
During her time at Clover Garden School, Halle stayed highly involved in school life. She played Varsity Volleyball for four years, competed in Travel Volleyball for four years, played Soccer, participated in Youth Group, Dream Team, Mentorship, Junior Civitan, FCA, and Beta Club, served as Senior Class Vice President, and helped in the Afterschool Program.
One of Halle’s favorite memories at CGS is making it to the Final 4 in volleyball with her best friends and helping Mrs. Paschal with game-day setup.
Halle’s advice to younger students:
“Never wish your school years away. Senior year will be here before you know it. Get involved and play the sport you’re scared to play—some of the strongest friendships are formed that way.”
We’re so proud of you, Halle, and can’t wait to see all you accomplish in the years ahead!
