Alyssa Smith is preparing for her next chapter after graduation with plans to pursue a degree at a four-year college. She is interested in child development and psychology-related majors and hopes to enter the field of occupational therapy, with a special interest in working in pediatric care.

During her time at CGS, Alyssa stayed actively involved through History Club, Envirothon, Junior Civitan, Mentorship Club, and volunteering at the Burlington Animal Shelter. One of her favorite memories is the free periods she had last year, where she grew closer with her friends and fellow seniors.

Alyssa’s advice to younger students:

“Don’t rush through high school, take time to enjoy the little moments and the people around you, and don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it.”

We’re proud of you, Alyssa, and wish you the best as you take this next step!
