Jerry Wagner, High School, Elective Teacher
Hi, my name is Jerry Wagner. I am an Alamance County native who loves serving and teaching others about life’s important things. I am retired from the Military, having served in the US Marines and US Army. I am a combat veteran of the Iraq War and a retired Fire Marshal and Emergency Management Coordinator. I graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor’s degree in Fire Administration and a Master’s Degree in History. My wife Tammy and I have 5 adult Children and 11 Grandchildren. We spend most of our spare time involved with family, church, and our little homestead where we have raised chickens, goats, pigs, rabbits, quail, ducks, geese, and guinea fowl. I also like to hunt and fish. A favorite quote of mine comes from Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
