You may have heard that our CGS Band is scheduled to appear with the Fire of the Carolinas, Elon Universities band! Our band members will perform from the stands on Saturday during Elon’s football game against William and Mary. The game starts at 2:00PM. Come out and support our talented players and enjoy Elon football too! Sounds like a perfect Saturday!!

Today Elon’s band director Dr. Jonathan Poquette visited the Marching Grizzlies to practice for Saturday’s game! Here is a preview of their sound on Elon’s fight song.

This is just one of the great experiences that being a member of band allows you to participate in. Students as young as sixth grade can take band as an elective and continue participating through graduation! We are very proud of our students and Mr. Babb. Their passion and talent for music is proof that including the arts in education is a huge benefit to our Grizzlies! #artsEDWEEK #CGSband #goGrizzlies
