Below is a quick bio to help you learn more about Mrs. Koehker.

Started volunteering at CGS in 2002-03 and worked with the students in the Class of 2006 - didn't want to let them down.

B.A. degree in Spanish from Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Associates Degree in Technology from Lehigh Carbon Community College in Schnecksville, PA. Before moving to N. Carolina, worked at Bell Labs in Allentown, PA as a Integrated Circuit chip tester, layout engineer, and chip designer. Spent one semester abroad in Cuernavaca, Mexico. Spanish teacher pedagogy classes completed at ECELA in Santiago, Chile. Education classes completed at Elon University. I have been teaching Spanish at CGS since 2003-04.

Spouse is Tod C. Koehler. Married 44 years. One son: Christopher A. Koehler; he graduated from CGS in 2011 and from Catawba College in 2015.

Counted Cross Stitch, knitting, crocheting, reading for pleasure, travel.
