Weekly Message 11.7-11.11

Shout out to all of our student athletes who won awards on Wednesday night at our Fall Athletic Awards Ceremony. Thank you to everyone that came out to support our student athletes! We greatly appreciate your respect and dedication to our athletics program at CGS. Thank you to everyone that stayed for the program’s entirety as well. Leaving mid-ceremony (unless an emergency) causes a disruption/distraction to all of our students patiently waiting for their turn to be recognized. Thank you for your help with this expectation and for helping our students learn this as well! We are hoping to begin having small versions of assemblies soon at school and need your help teaching our students ceremony and assembly expectations.

Homecoming Spirit Week

Homecoming Spirit week is next week November 15^th-November 19^th. Here’s a reminder of the days so that you can ensure your child is ready to show their school spirit! This year’s Homecoming Theme is “Wizard of Oz!”

Texas Roadhouse Gift card Fundraiser

Attention all Grizzlies!  Christmas is just around the corner.  Mrs. Betsy and the Dance Department are here to help your holiday shopping be quick and easy!  Everyone loves gift cards and Texas Roadhouse!  Combine the two and your shopping list is complete.  Our Grizzlies will start selling Texas Roadhouse gift cards starting on Monday, November 8th.  Paper order forms will go home to all students (K-12) next week.  Be on the lookout for information on selling incentives from Texas Roadhouse and prizes from CGS too!  

Chess Club Meetings:

Chess club will be starting up on Thursday afternoons beginning November 18th.  We will meet from 3 – 3:45 in Mrs. Wright’s room.  All ages and levels are welcome to join us.  If you are interested in learning how to play, we are willing to teach you.
