The CGS Student Council is sponsoring a card campaign to honor our nation’s veterans this week in observance of Veteran’s Day on Nov 11, 2021.  Student Council will be collecting cards from Monday, Nov 8th, through Friday, Nov 12th.  All cards must adhere to the following guidelines:

  • The message should be a one that is grateful for their service and sacrifice, uplifting and positive, and/or patriotic in general.  
  • No depictions of violence
  • Cards can be handmade or store bought, but with no glitter
  • Signatures can be either the student’s first name only, a Clover Garden Student, from North Carolina, or fellow American

In addition, we will have a RED, WHITE & BLUE Day on Wednesday, Nov 10th, and it’s a Hat Day–students and staff can pay $1 to wear their hats.  Please remember that all clothing and hats must be in line with CGS dress code.  
We hope that all Grizzlies will be able to participate in this worthwhile celebration and acknowledgement of our brave men and women.
