We hope that everyone had a safe and fun holiday weekend! We had a BLAST at Trunk or Treat on Friday night. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect and seeing our Grizzlies in their costumes was so much fun! Thank you to all that donated candy for us and drove through Friday night. We hosted over 300 students!! Shout out to our Enrollment Committee for all of their hard work in organizing this production! It was a great night! SHOUT OUT to our CGS Band who took 1st Place OVERALL in the Band Competition this past weekend and won many more awards as well!! Way to go Mr. Babb and our Marching Grizzlies!! What a FANTASTIC way to end your season! Shout out to Senior, Abby Kidd who got 1st Place Drum Major (4 points away from a perfect score!!) Congratulations to CGS’ own, Brielle Brown on her first ever NCHSAA State Qualifier!! Brielle will compete in the NCHSAA State Cross Country Meet on Saturday, November 6 in Kernersville. Way to go Brielle!

CGS’ Annual Homecoming Event is coming soon!! Athletics will be hosting CGS’ Homecoming Event on November 19th.  Please see the separate email detailing the homecoming events that are taking place! Congratulations to all of our homecoming representatives that were nominated last week!!

Early Pick Up

Reminder that per our CGS Student Handbook, students are not to be released for pick up after 2:20 P.M. unless for emergency situations. If your student has an appointment, you must pick them up by 2:20 P.M. Arriving after that time interferes with our afternoon dismissal line. Please plan accordingly.
