Since the 1990s Operation Christmas Child has worked with families, and organizations such as school groups and churches to spread Christmas cheer to millions of children around the world. The red and green shoeboxes used by Operation Christmas Child have come to symbolize love and sharing for people worldwide. In fact, more than 188 million boys and girls in over 160 countries have been gifted a Christmas Shoebox!

Each child receives a shoebox filled with toys, personal care items, and school supplies. This is the sixth year that Clover Garden will participate in this program. Mr. Johnson and the History Club sponsor this activity. They provide the boxes, collect the filled containers, and deliver them to a local collection site.

Pair up with friends, clubs can work together, even classrooms can work as a team. Families can also choose to work on a box together. Nothing feels better than giving back this time of year! We hope that our Grizzlies work together to fill more boxes than ever before! Below is a PDF that gives gift suggestions based on the gender and age child you choose. There are also links to additional resources that will help guide you through the process.
