Last week was All American Week here at Clover Garden. We had lots of festive activities take place and enjoyed the celebration. This week we are changing gears and celebrating National Arts in Education Week. Technically this celebration was last week in North Carolina but we are happy to extend the activities into this week! So get ready to enjoy our creative Grizzlies, singing, dancing, playing, and creating all this week!

The arts encompass dance, theatre, music/chorus, visual art, creative writing, and more. Here at Clover Garden the arts are an important part to teaching and encouraging to whole student. Starting in kindergarten our students are given opportunities to participate in a variety of arts centered specials and electives. Clover Garden has been recognized numerous times in band competitions, had artists win at the state level, and entertained our community with excellent theatrical performances. To say we are proud of our Grizzly artists is a bit of an understatement.

On this first day of CGS’ National Arts in Education Week we want to showcase Mrs. Mehring’s middle school chorus students. Listen to this beautiful performance of our National Anthem. These students often entertain our fans at athletic events and other special occasions here on campus.

Be on the lookout tomorrow for a glimpse of what Mrs. Betsy and our dance department is work on…
