We hope that everyone enjoyed the Academic Break and Labor Day holiday! There are only a few short weeks left of this first nine weeks. Please make sure that your student is focused and engaged in their studies at all times. We will be publishing a tutoring schedule to our website this week for your student to review and have the option of staying afterschool or coming before school (depending on the teacher’s preference) to participate in tutoring if they are interested. Please make sure that they check in with their teacher prior to staying for tutoring so that their teacher knows to expect them.

Progress reports went home the week before break. Please make sure that you pay close attention to those progress reports and reach out to your child’s teacher if you have questions or concerns. We also included the student’s ISR (individual score report) for ELA End of Grade exams for students that took EOG’s last school year in grades 3rd-8th. If you have questions about your student’s report, please reach out to our testing coordinator.

Covid-19:

Please see the attached graph for the most up-to-date Covid-19 metrics for CGS. Please continue being diligent with encouraging your student to wear their face masks properly and consistently at all times when in the building, social distancing when they are able, and washing their hands frequently! Doing all of these things will help keep us in school for in-person learning. Thank you for your help with this!
