The CGS Athletic Department and soccer coaches would like to offer soccer workouts during the month of February due to the fact we did not get enough student-athletes to field a MS or Varsity Boys Soccer Team.  The soccer coaching staff will offer skill development for all of our middle school and high school boys and girls.

Any CGS MS or HS student can participate as long as they complete the following:

Submit the following mandatory forms to the Athletic Director, Kelly Moyer

  1. Mandatory MS/HS Boys and Girls Soccer Workout Form
  2. Valid NCHSAA physical Form 
  3. NCHSAA Initial Screening Form

And follow the COVID-19 guidelines below:

  1. Everyone MUST wear a mask at ALL times
  2. Will be temperature checks and COVID-19 questions daily
  3. Follow ALL social distancing guidelines as directed by the coaches
  4. Bring your own water bottle daily. Water will not be offered.
  5. No spectators allowed, only coaches and athletes permitted

Remember you will not be permitted to participate in the workouts until the mandatory forms have been submitted. After the Athletic Director, Kelly Moyer, receives the forms, she will contact the coaches of your eligibility to participate. The coaching staff will reach out to you and let you know you are eligible to begin workouts.

You can print the mandatory form off or pick them up in the front office from Mrs. Lassiter. Forms can be submitted by scanning the documents (must be in PDF form) and emailing them to kellymoyer@cgsnc.org, dropped off in the front office to Mrs. Lassiter, or faxed to 336-586-9477 attention: Kelly Moyer.
