Grizzlies CGS has been made aware of a great opportunity for young ladies wanting to learn more about careers in tech.

The Women in Industrial Science, Design, Engineering and Manufacturing (WiSDEM) group at ACC is hosting a Girls Take Over Tech event on December 9, 2020. This event is a great opportunity to learn more about tech careers, connect with local industry leaders and network with other professionals.

In response to COVID-19 this event has been transitioned to a virtual experience. This means you can enjoy guest speakers and other events from the safety of your home.

Below are details on some of the events planned.

  1. Students are encouraged to attend the live events December 9th @ 2 PM to participate in career presentations by local industry partners.
  1. Students and faculty can attend  the keynote by Dr. Zitty @ 6 PM on leadership and authenticity.
  1. There is also a women-only networking session from 7-8 PM. Preregistration is required for this event.  

If you participate in the live events you will have the chance to win some great prizes including an iPad and gift cards.
