Due to the effects of COVID-19 Governor Roy Cooper, NCDPI, and the State Board of Education have been working on legislation and guideline updates for North Carolina schools. One of the changes recently passed down impacts our 2020 – 2021 Academic Calendar. The state has mandated the addition of five distance learning days and five traditional instructional ‘brick and mortar’ days.

So what does that mean for our Grizzly families? Our Distance Learning Days will begin on July 28, 2020, and conclude on August 3, 2020. The additional traditional instructional ‘brick and mortar’ are scheduled for May 27, 2021, through June 3, 2021.
