Today we turn our attention to another Senior that started their education at Clover Garden, Noah Tickle. During his high school years, Noah was very active around our campus. He was a multi-sport athlete competing in basketball, baseball, and cross country. He also participated in FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), BETA, Spanish Club, Sociedad Honoraria Hispanica, DREAM Team, and Prom Committee. Noah is another Clover Garden student that took advantage of the Alamance Community College Dual Enrollment program. This allowed him to earn college-level credits while still in high school. Outside of school, Noah participated in the Kimesville Road Baptist Church Youth Group.

Noah is excited to continue his education after graduation. He plans to, “attend UNCG and major in Kinesiology.” Upon completing his bachelor’s degree he will enter Physical Therapy school.

When asked what he felt the legacy of the Class of 2020 will be Noah stated, “The class of 2020 is not extremely gifted academically or athletically. However, we are all friendly and considerate people. That is why I believe our legacy will be that although we aren’t perfect, we are all known for showing kindness towards others.”

As he reflected over his years at Clover Garden Noah had many great memories. While he couldn’t narrow it down to just one he did say, “My favorite CGS memories are playing basketball and getting to spend time with the boys every day.”

Looking back over the years Noah had several people that have helped him become the person he is today. “If I had to name the people that most influenced and helped me along my academic journey it would be Mrs. Melton and my parents. Mrs. Melton was like my second mom, from the time I entered her class as a first grader to me being her teacher cadet my senior year. She has always encouraged me to do my best and chase my dreams. My parents have shown me love and support since the time I was born. They have been there to correct me when I’m wrong, lift me up when I’m down, and cheer me on in everything I’ve done. I couldn’t have made it this far without them in my life.”

Noah as you become a UNCG Spartan never forget that your Grizzly family stands behind you and is very proud of your past and future accomplishments.
